These three French musicians enjoy stellar chamber and solo careers. Together since their student days at the National Conservatory in Paris, where each graduated with top honours and where they now teach, they have been playing chamber music together since 1972, touring internationally to great critical acclaim. Violinist Régis Pasquier’s awards include among others. the Prix de l’Académie du Disque Français, the Georges Enesco Prize, and the Prix Charles Cros. Bruno Pasquier is one of the few performing viola soloists on the world concert circuit and has an extensive discography. Winner of the 1965 Munich International Competition, he was soloist chair at l’Orchestre de l’Opéra de Paris (1965-1985) and a member of the Orchestre National de France. Cellist Roland Pidoux, co-founder of l’Ensemble Instrumental de France has been a member of l’Orchestre de l’Opéra de Paris, held the soloist chair in l’Orchestre National de France, and served as artistic director for Harmonia Mundi.
